Meet Rob and Miles,

Miles brings over two decades of diverse experience spanning management, operations, sales, standard ag, human resources, and cannabis cultivation. His expertise covers various cultivation techniques, from indoor to light deprivation greenhouse and outdoor methods. Miles and his family started Simple Roots Family Farm in Oregon over a decade ago focusing on servicing farmers markets within the Rogue Valley with locally sourced products.  As a second-generation grower, Miles has cultivated in the Oregon Cannabis medical market for the past 11 years. Notably, Miles possesses proficiency in cultivating cannabis using complete organic and no-till methods, along with a solid understanding of specialized seed production. Miles has been constructing and managing greenhouse operations while also servicing the cannabis industry since 2013.

Rob Nash, the visionary owner/operator of Austin Aquaponics.com, has been designing and constructing commercial-scale aquaponic systems since 2005. With practical experience and training from Dr. Rakocy on the UVI model in 2010, Rob pioneered the early adoption of integrated hybrid commercial systems.

His commitment to education has made him a sought-after source of knowledge in the southern region, having taught thousands of students. Rob's farm and aquaponic systems have been showcased on prominent platforms, solidifying his reputation as an industry leader. Today, he continues to share his expertise through workshops, consultations, and tailored system design and construction services for all levels of expertise.
